Free Cash for Second Chance Center for Animals on Arizona Gives Day, April 4, 2017
Second Chance Center for Animals will be joining Arizona Gives Day, along with hundreds of other nonprofits from all over the state on Tuesday, April 4th, to raise much-needed funds to save the lives of more homeless dogs and cats. Through azgives.org, Arizonans will be able to support their favorite nonprofit(s) for exactly 24 hours of virtual giving to strive for additional cash incentive prizes.
During the 24 hour online fundraising campaign, Second Chance supporters will have the unique opportunity to double their impact by participating in a matching gift challenge. Individuals who volunteer on the Second Chance board of directors have pledged to match, dollar for dollar up to $5,000, every donation made online at https://www.azgives.org/secondchancecenter during Arizona Gives Day.
“Last year funds raised through Arizona Gives Day help us adopt 957 dogs and cats into new homes,” said Sean Hawkins, Second Chance Center for Animals Executive Director. “With the matching gift challenge and tremendous support from the community, our goal is to help 1,500 homeless pets find homes in 2017.”
From 12:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. on April 4, supporters of Second Chance Center for Animals can go to www.azgives.org and select Second Chance Center for Animals to make a direct contribution. These donations are crucial to helping fund our local efforts throughout the year.
