You and your favorite four-legged pal are playing catch and you notice not only is he not as energetic as usual, but he is limping. You take him to the veterinarian and are informed that he is very hurt and the cost of his treatment is extremely beyond your means. Life is unpredictable and unfortunately so are injuries and illnesses meaning unexpected medical bills. Taking care of the ones you care about is important to you, including the four legged ones you love.

Seven dogs have been rescued from the disaster-stricken area of the Supai. Second Chance Center for Animals in Flagstaff, AZ is providing urgent medical care and shelter to the seven dogs that were lifted out of the Grand Canyon and taken to the Peach Springs shelter by helicopter. The dogs arrived at SCCA early last evening (Wednesday, Aug.20, 2008).
