Pet Parenting Workshop
Have you or your family considered getting a pet, but weren’t sure what kind of pet is best for your lifestyle? Curious as to what is involved in caring for different kids of pets? Do you know you want a pet, but need a plan for how to share responsibility for its care among family members?
Then this seminar is for you!
This is a great workshop for first time pet owners, for families, for petsitters or those becoming petsitters.

Dog First Aid
SCCA is offering the American Red Cross Dog First Aid course. All participants will receive a Red Cross Dog First Aid Manual & DVD plus certification card. Perfect for pet owners, pet groomers, pet rescue organizations, pet sitters, and pet daycare owners and employees.
Topics include:
- Urgent care situations; including shock, wounds, muscle, bone or joint injuries, trauma, and sudden illness.
- CPR & Rescue breathing
- Creating a pet first aid kit and emergency supplies kit
- Importance of knowing the normal physical condition, behaviors and habits of your dog
